About Blue Mobile Detailing
We started on a Lake Travis dock with one van and a simple idea: nobody should have to haul a boat or an RV across town to get it properly detailed.
Built on Lake Travis, for Austin boat & RV owners
Blue Mobile Detailing was founded by detailers who got tired of watching good gelcoat chalk out and good RV roofs go to ruin because the nearest shop was an hour away and booked for a month. We built the opposite: a small, accountable, fully mobile team that comes to the slip, the lift or the storage lot and treats every rig like it's ours.
The name comes from the water — Lake Travis, Lake Austin, the Colorado — and from the color of a properly finished hull under a clear Texas sky. It also reflects how we work: clean, calm and low-drama. We show up in the window we promised, we do what we said we'd do, and we tell you honestly when something can't be fixed.
Today we cover marinas and lake houses all around Lake Travis, RV storage lots along the 71 and 290 corridors, and driveways from Tarrytown to Dripping Springs. Boats and RVs are the core of what we do; cars are a secondary service we're glad to add while we're already on site. Every van is self-contained with its own water, power and lighting, so all we need is access.
