Can you detail my boat at the marina, on the lift or in dry-stack storage?

Yes — that's the bulk of our work around Lake Travis and Lake Austin. Slip, lift, dry-stack rack, private dock or on the trailer at home all work. We just need marina access and a spot for the van.

Do you come to RV storage lots?

We do, and it's often easier than a driveway. Covered and open facilities around Austin, Dripping Springs and Leander are on our regular route — just leave a gate code or notify the office.

What does an RV detail include?

Accepted Answer

Exterior wash and wax, roof cleaning and treatment, black streak removal, awning cleaning, wheels and tires, plus undercarriage and oxidation work. RV detailing is exterior-only. Ceramic and roof coatings are available as upgrades.

Do you still detail cars?

Yes. Car detailing is our secondary service — book it on its own or add it while we're already on site for a boat or RV.

Do you need access to my water or electricity?

Accepted Answer

No. Every Blue van carries its own water tank, pressure system, generator and lighting. All we need is a parking space with room to walk around the vehicle.

How long does a detail take?

A boat detail typically runs four to ten hours depending on length and oxidation, an RV four to twelve, and a car two to four. Ceramic coatings on any of the three run one to three days including cure time.

Can you detail in an apartment complex or office garage?

Yes. Our low-water process produces essentially no runoff, which is the main concern for property managers. Just confirm your building allows vendor access and send us the level and space number.

What happens if it rains?

We monitor the forecast and will reach out to reschedule if conditions make quality work impossible. There's no rescheduling fee — ever.

Do I need to be home during the appointment?

Not at all. Plenty of clients leave keys in a lockbox or with the front desk. We text before we start, send photos when we finish, and collect payment by secure link.

How much does mobile boat, RV or car detailing cost in Austin?

Boats start at $18 per foot and RVs at $12 per foot, with premium and coating tiers priced higher. Car packages start at $150. Condition — oxidation, mildew, heavy black streaking — is quoted transparently before we start.

How long does a ceramic coating actually last?

Two to five years depending on the product tier, how the car is parked, and whether it gets maintenance washes. Full-sun outdoor parking in Central Texas sits at the shorter end of that range.

Will detailing remove scratches?

Accepted Answer

Polishing and paint correction remove scratches that live in the clear coat, which is most of what you see. If your fingernail catches in the scratch, it's too deep and needs touch-up paint or a body shop.

How often should I get my car detailed?

Two to four full details per year works for most Austin drivers, with maintenance washes in between. Cars parked outside under trees or near irrigation benefit from a quarterly schedule.
